Structured Play Time

The playgroup spent time playing games as part of their structured free time. We played one game where they had to catch as many marbles that they could in the mouth of the squirrel. During this time, students were asked to count how many marbles they had and what color they were. It always showed them cause and effect.

The other structured game was a fishing game and students had to see how many fish they could catch on their magnetic fish pole. The students played very well together. This was a good exercise not only in academic learning, but social skills (learning to take turns). Great job playgroup.
