Preschool and the Letter W

This past week, the preschoolers will busy working on the letter W. They were able to touch, see, and feel things that started with the letter W focusing primarily on the vocabulary of the week which were watermelon, wheat, window, and worm.

Students practiced their handwriting by tracing the letter W in the sand and match the vocabulary words with the appropriate action. For instance, the card in the middle of this photo collage was showing the students how wheat is cultivated and processed into the things we eat.
